SCHOOL YEAR 2021/2022 COMES TO AN END While the 2021/2022 school year was not typical, Crossroads made great strides in growing its capabilities to support more students impacted by food insecurity. Sundays at SOTH! 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. – Worship and what you can expect: 9:30 a.m. and until after 10:45 a.m. Worship – Food, Fellowship, and Fun! Build community through chatting, or, if you love a good puzzle or board game, find one in the fellowship hall and enjoy. Weather permitting, there will be outdoor activities too.   9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Friendship and Faith Building (Education) for All As noted above, all are welcome to come at 9:30 a.m. for food and fellowship of all sorts. At 9:45 a.m., adults meet for education while young people gather as a large group

Shepherd of the Hills 2022 Congregational Retreat will take place May 6-8 at Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp & Retreat Center. This is a great way for people of all ages to enjoy outdoor adventure and relaxation while growing in faith and building community. Children of all ages are welcome to participate in an Easter egg hunt and fellowship time on Sunday, March 31 beginning at 9:45 a.m. Plenty of surprise-filled eggs will be hidden in and around the grassy area in the back of the church building. Fellowship was enjoyed by all during our Wednesday evening Lenten gatherings starting with a soup dinner at 6pm followed by worship at 7pm. Soups were provided by various SOTH ministries.

Midweek Lenten Services Lent is a time for contemplation and repentance as we consider God’s enduring faithfulness and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our salvation. During our midweek Lenten services, we will focus on people of faith who encourage us—through their words and deeds—to build God’s kingdom in this time and place. Please join our Lenten gathering on Wednesday evenings from March 9 – April 6 starting with a soup dinner at 6 pm followed by a service at 7 pm in-person and Zoom. With gratitude and excitement big changes can be seen as the church building expands! In our quest to increase our missions and ministries as well as enhance daily ministry functions we are committed to enlarge the church building. We also look forward to hosting more community events such as Crossroads, Senior Ministry, Scouting and welcoming new gatherings to utilize the increased space. All are welcome!
