SCHOOL YEAR 2021/2022 COMES TO AN END While the 2021/2022 school year was not typical, Crossroads made great strides in growing its capabilities to support more students impacted by food insecurity. ALL are welcome to come and recognize the gift of the Holy Spirit with the Pentecost kite flying celebration following the late service Sunday, June 5 from 11:45 AM – 1:30 PM! Like the wind, the Spirit is invisible, but we can see the work that it does. Kites, stomp rockets, and other fun activities will be available to all, and pizza will be provided. Holy Week Schedule Palm/Passion Sunday, April 10 A special celebration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem with special music, palm branch processional, and dramatic reading of the Passion of Christ. Children of all ages are welcome to participate in an Easter egg hunt and fellowship time on Sunday, April 17 beginning at 9:45am. Fellowship was enjoyed by all during our Wednesday evening Lenten gatherings starting with a soup dinner at 6pm followed by worship at 7pm. Soups were provided by various SOTH ministries.
Midweek Lenten Services Lent is a time for contemplation and repentance as we consider God’s enduring faithfulness and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our salvation. During our midweek Lenten services, we will focus on people of faith who encourage us—through their words and deeds—to build God’s kingdom in this time and place.
