SUNDAY SCHOOL
Kindergarten to 6th Grade
Smiles, stories from the Bible, interaction with friends and caring adults, praying with others, drawing and games: All these things are important to the faith and life of young people. We will be offering IN-PERSON, OUTDOOR Sunday school as the weather holds. 9:40 AM – 10:10 AM – Sunday school for children Kindergarten to 6th grade will take place outside between worship services at the side of the church where the volleyball net is located. Students and adult leaders are required to wear masks and 6 feet social distance. Children are asked to bring blankets/towels on which to sit and fill out a Sunday school registration form which is available HERE, drop it off at the church, and/or send it to SOTH’s church administrator at admin@sothva.org.
Confirmation & High School Sunday Gathering
SOTH is offering OUTDOOR, IN-PERSON gatherings and education for Confirmation students (7th and 8th graders) and high school students from 10:55 AM – 11:55 AM on Sunday mornings as the weather holds in the area of the volleyball net beside the church. If and when the weather is not good, confirmation will be held on zoom. Contact Pastor Darcy for more information at pastordarcy@sothva.org.
In addition to being with peers again, students will read the Bible, and engage in faith conversation and prayer as they grow in relationship with the Lord and one another. Students and adult leaders are required to wear masks and social distance. Students are asked to bring lawn chairs on which to sit as well as fill out a registration form (click HERE) if it has not already been done.
