
Darcy F. Percy

Pastor Darcy grew up in Pennsylvania and Maryland and attended Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. After college, she traveled with a Youth Encounter ministry band for a year before beginning her ministry in churches serving as Director of Youth, Family Ministry and Contemporary Worship.
Pastor Darcy received a Master of Divinity degree in 2005 from Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. She served congregations in Maryland and Virginia before beginning her service as Pastor of Shepherd of the Hills in 2017.
Pastor Darcy loves the Lord, Christ’s Church, and is passionate about helping people connect to God, one another, and faith to life. She is married to Aaron, and they have a daughter and three sons, two of which are twins (Darcy is a twin as well). Pastor Darcy loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys learning about history, camping, traveling, and playing sports, especially softball and volleyball.

Rev. Ronald G. Qualley

Pastor Qualley has served for 45 years in parish ministry. In the past, he served Grace Lutheran Church in Miami Springs, Florida and Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Fairfax/Clifton, Virginia. In 2015 he retired from parish ministry in order to increase his involvement in the Village of Hope ministry in Haiti, consult with pastors and congregations, and assist United Lutheran Seminary in their program to equip Lead Pastors of larger congregations. Pastor Qualley has served on numerous boards providing leadership locally, nationally, and internationally. He and his wife, Sandi, have two children and three grandchildren and live in Fairfax, Virginia.

Amanda Odendahl

Amanda grew up in Iowa, Kansas, and Minnesota, before finally settling in Georgia. She attended Georgia College and State University receiving a Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. After college, she held various administrative jobs for speaker manufacturers, specialty eye wear, and adhesives companies and has over 15 years of experience in the field. Amanda enjoys serving her church and the larger community.

Nancy Griffin-Bonnaire
Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministry

Nancy is a native New Yorker who attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, graduating with a degree in Theatre and French just prior to moving to the Washington, D.C. area in 1990. She was baptized, raised, confirmed, and married in the Lutheran church and became active in her previous congregation, helping to lead music in the weekly contemporary service and launching a youth drama ministry. Nancy has been married to Fabrice since 1992; together they have four children: Christian, Marc, Noah, and Julia.

Heather Qualley
Director of Shared Ministry

Heather is a native of Northern Virginia and a life-long Lutheran. She grew up attending church at Lord of Life Lutheran. She is a graduate from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and a Minor in Dance. She was a preschool teacher at Grace Methodist church in Manassas as well as a substitute teacher within Prince William County schools. She then entered the computer/network world as an Office Manager/Customer Service and has over 14 years of experience.
Heather is the proud mom of 2 sons, James and John. James lives locally in Manassas and John is currently attending Norwich University. Heather loves to go to the beach, garden, and take walks to enjoy the sights and sounds of God’s creation.

Laura Nejfelt
Pianist
Laura is a retired Spanish teacher and a native of North Dakota. She and her husband Jim have lived in Manassas for over 40 years. They have two children who live in the metro area. Before coming to Shepherd of the Hills, Laura was an organist at St. Andrew Lutheran in Centreville for many years.

D. Bradee
Pianist
D. taught music in both Baltimore City and Fairfax County Schools. Married, she has three adult children and six grandchildren. D. enjoys adding to the worship experience with SOTH Singers and playing the piano.

Anne Swift
Childcare Supervisor
In our nursery Anne shares her love of children, knowledge of childcare and childhood education. As the director of a large children’s academy, she is an educator with more than 20 years experience working in variety of preschool settings. Anne is active and enjoys participating in both church and community activities.

Crystal Walker
Childcare Assistant
Crystal joins our nursery team with a background in care giving. Welcoming children Sunday mornings, Crystal cares for them and guides them to God’s creative and loving message through play.
