Arts & Artisans
All are welcome to join this lively group of ladies on Mondays from 1-4 pm at church. Bring your favorite craft to work on or just come and discover the latest group project to benefit a great cause. It’s a wonderful place to meet new friends and learn new skills. Currently, the projects involve making greeting cards and beaded jewelry to benefit the Village of Hope in Haiti. Don’t want to craft? Make a joyful noise! The SOTH Singers is a multi-generational choir which currently meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm at the home of our interim director and most Sundays at church after the 10:30 am service. The Singers provide special music for worship approximately once a month, as well as Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. Musical offerings include various vocal combinations, including solo, duet, and other ensembles. Contact the church office for information on joining the choir. The Ladies’ Brunch is held on the first Thursday of each month at 10 am, at the Gainesville Diner, 14670 Lee Hwy, Gainesville, Virginia 20155. Check the Shepherd’s Horn for the latest information. Dinner & Faith Talk
Led by Pastor Darcy. The focus of each gathering changes and is based upon group interests and raised questions regarding the Bible, Christian Discipleship, the Church, and more. Meetings are most 3rd Wednesdays of the month during the school year from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Percy home.

Study at Heritage Hunt
For those who reside in the Gainesville Heritage Hunt community. Typically, this study involves a video and conversation. It is led by Pastor Qualley and takes place at Marsh Mansion. This gathering takes place most 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the school year from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

Salt – Praise & Worship Band
Salt leads worship about once a month and practices most Thursday evenings 7 pm – 8:30 pm. In addition to adults we invite high school students with gifts in music to join. Sunday Morning Adult Forum
Facilitated by Nels Hendrickson. Build community with others while exploring your faith and beliefs from a personal and historical context. This adult forum features a discussion which is centered each week around a single topic, most often with a video component. The group meets most Sundays throughout the school year from 9:15 am – 10:15 am in the church office.

Grief Support Group
Do you or someone you know need help and encouragement after the death of a loved one? If so, GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild lives. We know it hurts, and we want to help. GriefShare will meet at church on Sundays from 5 to 7 pm through December 15th (Please note, no meeting December 1st, over Thanksgiving Weekend).
