Sunday Morning Adult Education
The Adult Form will be reading Phil Cary’s “Introduction to the Nicene Creed” together. The creeds are important to our shared faith. We take time to say one of the historic creeds together during every worship service, and understanding them better will make that experience more meaningful for us. And the creeds can be puzzling at first glance. Why have a creed? Why did the early church write it? Why does it include weird things like “light from light” and “begotten not made”? How does it shape our faith today, almost 1700 years later?
Each Sunday we will read a few pages of the book together and then discuss them! Come and join us on Sundays from 9:45-10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome!
Every other Tuesday at 7pm via Zoom
Next meeting is February 6
Join Nels Hendrickson as he leads the study of “The Jesus I Never Knew”, by Philip Yancey. You will find that this book will educate and inspire the reader to take a closer look at the biblical Jesus and his motivations. In doing so, we can gain a new perspective on what it means to ba a follower of Christ.
Join us Tuesday evenings at 7 pm on Zoom!

Bible Backstory – A totally new study of the Bible!
Bible Backstory Returns – Bible Backstory is… back! Our popular Bible overview course, usually taught Sundays during the Sunday School hour, will now be available online. If you’ve been in this year’s class all along, you can pick up right where we left off with Session 19a. If you hadn’t been part of the class but would like to join in, Dale’s put together four Review sessions (about 30 minutes each) which will summarize the Old Testament sessions for you. One or two new sessions (also about 30 minutes each) will be posted weekly.
Please ask any questions or comments in the comments section on YouTube. It’s a good way to really understand the Bible – give it a try!
