S.O.T.H. Volunteers enjoyed joining community members in preparing and serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to students and families of Pace West School. In addition to a monetary donation from S.O.T.H., volunteers prepared stuffing, potatoes, desserts and rolls for the feast. The day of the feast some volunteers worked in the kitchen, while others served students and their families on the food line. “The kids appreciate it and look forward to it,” one volunteer said.

Each year volunteers from different areas and clubs in the community come together to provide this special meal for students and their families that might not experience it at home. S.O.T.H. has been honored to serve in the Harvest Feast for over 5 years. The students relish the Harvest Feast, as it creates lasting memories-combining school and family. One student said,”I love it because my mom gets to meet all my friends.”
