Please join us for the festivities Sunday School Rally Day at 9:15 am and our Church Fall Festival following the second service at 10:30 am!
NASCAR has its racing rallies. The NFL has its Kickoff Game. For ages, churches have celebrated the beginning of the church school year on Rally Day. Whether you have spent the summer working hard out in your fields, or at the lake hardly working, on Rally Day the church – all of us of every age – are called to return to our mission with renewed energy.
Starting at 9:15am, all students will register for Sunday School and meet their teacher – and then enjoy: The 2nd Annual Cornhole Cup, a Crossroads Connection packing event, a cakewalk, snacks, and TWO moon-bounces (large and small)!
Following second service (around noon) we will kick off the Annual Fall Festival, including a potluck cookout (brats and hot dogs provided), a magician (a hit last year!), face painting, more Cornhole Cup (conclusion and award), and still TWO moon-bounces! Sunday School and adult classes will return beginning September 15th.
This year we will discover interesting Bible Backstory – Old Stories…New Revelations it is designed to acquaint us with the whole Bible in one Sunday School year! You know the old stories, but we will knit them together to reveal even more. No “Bible experience” required, we will advertise each week’s backstory, come learn new things every week. Look for a brochure next Sunday, or ask questions at the Ice Cream Social on August 25th.
